Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in managing SAP S/4HANA implementation and maintenance projects. The successful candidate will lead end-to-end SAP project delivery, manage cross-functional teams, and engage stakeholders to ensure high-quality outcomes across both project implementation and operational support environments.

This role requires deep SAP program management expertise, strong governance capability, and the ability to successfully deliver projects in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery & Governance

• Lead and manage full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementation projects, from initiation and planning through execution, deployment, and stabilization.

• Define and manage project scope, timelines, budget, risks, issues, and dependencies.

• Oversee delivery of application maintenance and enhancement workstreams for ongoing S/4HANA operations.

• Ensure adherence to project governance frameworks, quality standards, and compliance requirements.

Stakeholder Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact for business leaders, IT leadership, and external partners.

• Facilitate workshops, steering committee meetings, and project status reporting.

• Align business requirements with technical teams to ensure solutions are feasible and aligned with business objectives.

Team Leadership & Coordination

• Manage and coordinate work across internal teams, SAP functional consultants, developers, and vendors.

• Drive team productivity, collaboration, and effective communication.

• Ensure effective change management, training, and organizational readiness during deployments.

Solution & Process Oversight

• Collaborate with functional leads across SAP modules (FICO, MM, PM, SD, PP, QM) to ensure seamless integration across the system landscape.

• Review functional designs, RICEFW specifications, testing strategies, and cutover plans.

• Support transition from project delivery to operational support (hypercare to steady-state operations).

Risk, Issue & Change Management

• Identify potential project risks and issues and implement mitigation strategies.

• Manage change requests, assess impacts, and oversee approval and implementation processes.

• Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards, performance expectations, and business objectives.

Requirements

• Minimum 12–15 years of IT experience, with at least 8 years managing SAP projects.

• Proven experience delivering at least two full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementations.

• Strong experience managing SAP AMS / support operations in an S/4HANA environment.

• Solid understanding of SAP modules such as FICO, MM, PM, SD, PP, and QM, including cross-functional dependencies.

• Knowledge of SAP Activate methodology and project management best practices.

• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills.

• Proven ability to manage large, cross-functional teams including vendors and system integrators.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts in business-friendly language.

• Strong leadership skills with experience managing multi-disciplinary teams.

• Experience preparing executive reports, dashboards, and presentations.

• Familiarity with Agile or Hybrid project delivery frameworks is an advantage.

• Understanding of SAP integration challenges, data migration complexities, and infrastructure dependencies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline.

• Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) is highly preferred.
