Assistant Manager (Controllership) | Up to $5,500

Working Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm

Responsibilities:

Finance Operations & Support

• Provide day-to-day finance operational support to faculties and units, including WBS master data creation/maintenance and budget transfers
• Serve as a key point of contact to manage and resolve queries and operational issues in a timely manner
• Ensure service level agreements (SLAs) for finance operations and master data are consistently achieved

Governance, Controls & Compliance

• Ensure integrity of financial records and reporting through periodic housekeeping activities (Review of dormant WBS & balance sheet reviews)
• Review and oversee financial master data governance to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal policies and accounting standards
• Review Risk Control Matrices (RCMs) prepared by units, assessing completeness and reasonableness, and recommend improvements
• Ensure compliance with finance policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements through operational audit

Advisory & Stakeholder Engagement

• Provide advisory support on finance policies, procedures, and transaction-related matters to ensure consistent application
• Partner with finance and operational stakeholders to strengthen governance, accountability, and compliance
