Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Design and build modular, portable, production‑ready code that runs on any cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure) or on‑premise.
  • Re‑engineer our existing platform to turn complex business and retail needs into reusable, scalable components.
  • Create AI‑driven modules that integrate research models into reliable, scalable business solutions.
  • Drive feature cycles, enforce architecture patterns, coding standards, and DevOps/MLOps best practices across the team.
  • Conduct code reviews, promote engineering excellence, and ensure all deliverables meet security, performance, and maintainability requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, AI, Operations Research, or a related field.
  • 4+ years building and shipping software systems.
  • Experience provisioning infrastructure as code on at least one major cloud provider.
  • Comfortable deploying software in cloud and on‑prem environments using Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Background designing microservices, APIs, and system architectures.
  • Strong Python skills and familiarity with:
    • SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) & NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB) databases
    • Testing frameworks such as PyTest for unit/integration testing
  • Experience deploying AI models to production, using orchestration tools (Airflow, Prefect, Ray, etc.) and reporting tools (Tableau, Holistics) is a plus.
  • Prior work on inventory optimization, demand forecasting, or supply‑chain AI solutions is a plus.
