Job Description

Mandatory Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent professional experience)
  • Experience: 8+ years in regional (ASEAN/APAC) technical sales or pre-sales engineering
  • Industry Background: Preference for candidates from major cybersecurity vendors or top-tier MSP/MSSPs
  • Technical Expertise:Deep hands-on knowledge of Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW)Extensive experience with SASE/SD-WAN/SSE architectures (Palo Alto Prisma SASE or direct equivalents)Proficiency in cloud security & CNAPP across hyperscale environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, and Chinese clouds like Tencent/Alibaba)Working knowledge of Security Operations & AI-driven SecOps tools (Cortex XSIAM/XDR, XSOAR/SOAR, SIEM)
  • Core Competencies:Ability to translate complex technical features into clear, actionable business value for C-suite stakeholdersProven track record of influencing without authority in matrixed, partner-driven environmentsPlayer-coach mentality with demonstrated experience mentoring sales/pre-sales talentComfort operating in fast-paced, high-volume technical sales cycles
  • Certifications: PCNSE or PCNSA highly preferred (note: marked as preferred, not strictly mandatory, but expected in competitive markets)

Responsibilities

  • Lead Technical Pre-Sales: Own end-to-end pursuits for Palo Alto’s full security stack, including solution architecture, executive presentations, product demos, and Proof of Concept (POC) management.
  • Enable & Align Partners: Train and coach Orange Business sales, pre-sales, and consulting teams, while collaborating with internal/vendor partners to synchronize go-to-market efforts.
  • Drive Pipeline & Deal Closure: Identify new opportunities, lead RFI/RFP technical responses, and craft competitive displacement strategies to accelerate sales velocity and improve win rates.
  • Champion Platform Expansion: Cross-sell across NGFW, Prisma, and Cortex solutions to broaden portfolio adoption, increase partner-channel revenue, and deliver measurable business value.
