Role Overview

This role plays a critical part in driving the group’s financial consolidation, reporting, and strategic finance initiatives. The incumbent will lead and support consolidation across multiple entities and regions, ensuring compliance with IFRS/GAAP standards while partnering closely with senior management to provide insights that shape business decisions. The position also offers involvement in budgeting, forecasting, and finance transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage financial consolidation and reporting processes across multiple entities and regions in accordance with IFRS/GAAP.
• Oversee intercompany eliminations, foreign currency translations, and equity accounting to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Partner with regional finance teams to ensure consistency, accuracy, and timeliness of reporting and analysis.
• Provide financial insights and performance analysis to senior leadership, supporting data-driven decision-making.
• Drive process improvement initiatives across consolidation, forecasting, and financial transformation projects.

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in Accounting or equivalent, with at least 6 years of relevant experience, including external audit and MNC exposure.
• Strong technical knowledge of IFRS or Japanese GAAP, with hands-on experience in financial consolidation and reporting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with SAP or other ERP systems is preferred.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with strong stakeholder management abilities.
• Proven track record of managing multiple priorities and meeting tight reporting deadlines in a dynamic environment.
