Senior Accountant

About the Role:
My client is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing month-end reporting, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. You will work closely with management and contribute to process improvements and financial reporting efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

• Manage general ledger, journal entries, and account reconciliations.

• Perform variance analysis and provide actionable insights to management.

• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements (GST, tax filings).

• Assist with internal and external audits, providing required documentation.

• Support ERP and system implementation projects, process improvement initiatives, and workflow enhancements.

• Liaise with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in accounting, preferably with audit or corporate accounting exposure.

• Professional qualification preferred (ACCA/CPA/CFA).

• Strong understanding of accounting standards (IFRS/US GAAP).

• Proficient in accounting software (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent) and MS Office.

• Detail-oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
