We provide Underground Utilities Infrastructure construction and maintenance, sewer pipeline rehabilitation, road and airfield construction and maintenance as well as asphalt pre-mix production and construction waste recycling. Job Description Join Ley Choon Group as an Assistant Engineer and take charge of the quality standards that build Singapore's infrastructure. We are seeking a proactive professional to lead rigorous material testing, pioneer bitumen R&D formulations, and provide critical technical support to our plant and site operations. Key Responsibilities • Laboratory Testing & Material Analysis: Perform bitumen testing from collection to preparation using specialized equipment (Penetrometer, Viscometer, Softening Point, Ductilometer, RTFO, and DSR). Monitor and inspect the quality of aggregates, bitumen, and asphalt premix. • R&D and Formulation: Assist in laboratory Research & Development by formulating and modifying bitumen recipes with base bitumen, polymers, and other additives to meet project requirements. • QC Documentation & Coordination: Prepare, check, and email QC test reports for in-house and project teams. Manage third-party laboratory forms and coordinate with the Site QC team regarding sample requirements. • Operational & Admin Support: Ensure worker training compliance and maintain training records. Handle administrative duties including raising Purchase Requests (PR) for consumables/equipment and assisting managers with daily operational tasks.
