Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Automotive Mechanic role based in Singapore. The Automotive Mechanic will perform routine servicing, diagnostic checks, and repairs on various vehicle makes and models, including engine, brake, suspension, and electrical systems. Responsibilities include identifying mechanical issues, using diagnostic tools, replacing or repairing faulty parts, and conducting road tests to verify work quality. The role also involves maintaining accurate service records, following workshop safety procedures, and ensuring tools and equipment are kept in good condition. The Automotive Mechanic will interact with service advisors and customers to explain findings, provide technical input for quotations, and help ensure a positive service experience.
Qualifications
• Strong hands-on skills in Vehicle Maintenance, including routine servicing, inspections, and preventive care.
• Proficiency in Automotive Repair and Maintenance & Repair, covering diagnostics, part replacement, and system troubleshooting.
• Solid understanding of Automotive systems, such as engines, brakes, suspension, steering, and basic electrical components.
• Commitment to Customer Satisfaction, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly and support a professional service experience.
• NITEC, Higher NITEC, diploma, or equivalent certification in Automotive Technology or a related field preferred.
• Experience in a workshop or dealership environment and familiarity with diagnostic tools and service documentation.
• Ability to work safely in a workshop setting, follow standard operating procedures, and meet quality and time targets.
• Willingness to learn new technologies, attend training, and adapt to evolving automotive systems.
