Project Manager – Power & Electrical Infrastructure

• Location: Office (West), but site based
• 5 days work week
• $6500 - $8500 (Basic)

We are seeking a motivated Project Manager to oversee engineering and infrastructure projects related to electrical power systems. This role involves coordinating technical teams, managing project timelines, and ensuring successful delivery of projects within budget and quality standards.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience managing power transmission, electrical infrastructure, or utility-related projects, and possess strong coordination skills to work with internal teams, contractors, and clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and manage electrical or power infrastructure projects from initiation through completion.

• Monitor project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure projects are delivered according to schedule and agreed objectives.

• Work closely with engineering teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure project activities progress smoothly.

• Review technical plans and project documentation to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.

• Support site coordination, installation activities, and project implementation when required.

• Manage communication between internal stakeholders, vendors, and project partners to ensure alignment on project progress.

• Identify potential project risks or technical challenges and work with the team to implement practical solutions.

• Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and record keeping throughout the project lifecycle.

• Maintain high standards of workplace safety and quality during project execution.
  

Requirements

• Specialist Diploma in Construction Productivity (SDCP) is mandatory.
• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or related discipline.
• Experience in managing or supporting projects related to power transmission, electrical power systems, or utility infrastructure is required.
• Minimum 3 years of project coordination or project management experience in engineering or infrastructure environments.
• Good understanding of electrical systems, engineering projects, or power-related installations.
• Able to coordinate multiple stakeholders and manage project schedules effectively.
• Willing to visit project sites and support on-site project activities when required.
• Good communication skills in English.
