Infrastructure Engineer - Up to $3.9K - Central

Job Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 (L1) technical support for daily BAU (Business-As-Usual) operations, ensuring smooth system functionality and minimal disruption to users.

• Perform basic troubleshooting and issue resolution for system, application, or user-related problems, escalating more complex issues to Level 2 (L2) support when required.

• Manage and track support tickets from initiation to closure, ensuring timely updates, proper documentation, and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).

• Conduct routine system monitoring and health checks, identifying potential issues early and taking proactive steps to mitigate risks.

• Collaborate closely with L2 support teams and other stakeholders to resolve incidents efficiently and ensure continuity of operations.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Basic understanding of IT systems, networks, and troubleshooting methodologies.

• Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g. ServiceNow, Jira) and incident management processes is an advantage.

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple issues simultaneously.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
