Assistant Manager, Finance Controller - Up to $5.5K - WEST

Job Description

• Provide end-to-end finance operational support to faculties and schools, including financial master data maintenance, budget transfers, and issue resolution.

• Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant financial transactions, records, and reporting through strong governance and internal controls.

• Review and maintain financial master data, dormant accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, and Risk Control Matrices (RCMs) to uphold data integrity and compliance.

• Advise Finance Business Partners and stakeholders on finance policies, procedures, governance requirements, and transaction-related matters.

• Drive continuous process improvements by identifying control gaps, operational inefficiencies, and implementing remediation initiatives.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline from a recognized university.

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in finance operations, controllership, audit, governance, or compliance functions.

• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, internal controls, risk management, and governance frameworks.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with SAP S/4HANA or similar ERP systems is advantageous.

• Strong analytical, stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
