Senior Cloud Engineer - Up to $9K - CENTRAL

Job Description

• Design, implement, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure and operational platforms.

• Configure and manage Amazon SageMaker environments to support MLOps initiatives.

• Build and operate centralized monitoring, logging, and observability solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, and CloudWatch.

• Develop automation through Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform/CloudFormation) and CI/CD pipelines to improve platform efficiency.

• Collaborate with application, data, and platform teams to enhance reliability, troubleshoot production issues, and optimize cloud performance.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services including IAM, VPC, EC2, S3, CloudWatch, ECS/EKS, and cloud security/networking fundamentals.

• Proven expertise in monitoring, observability, and centralized logging platforms, particularly Prometheus and Grafana.

• Experience with Amazon SageMaker, MLOps platforms, and supporting production cloud environments.

• Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and scripting languages such as Python or Bash.

• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills; Kubernetes, OpenTelemetry, CI/CD, DataOps, and AWS certifications are advantageous.
