Terraform Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Engineer – L3

Job Summary

We are seeking a Terraform IaC Engineer (L3) to design, automate, and manage scalable infrastructure across AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, and on-premises environments. The role focuses on building standardized infrastructure with Terraform, integrating with CI/CD pipelines, and implementing governance and security through policy-as-code.

Key Responsibilities

• ⁠Develop and manage Terraform configurations for infrastructure provisioning across AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, and on-prem environments.
• ⁠Build modular Terraform code, manage remote state (S3 / Terraform Cloud), and maintain environment isolation using workspaces.
• Integrate Terraform with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI) for automated deployments.
• ⁠Implement policy-as-code governance (OPA, Sentinel) and enforce IaC standards for security, tagging, and compliance.
• Manage drift detection, remediation, and migration of existing infrastructure to Terraform.
• Document workflows and promote Terraform best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
5+ years in infrastructure automation with 3+ years of Terraform experience.
Strong knowledge of Terraform HCL, modules, providers (AWS, Azure, Kubernetes).
Experience with GitOps practices, CI/CD integration, and remote state management.
Proficiency in Python or Bash scripting.
Experience with EKS / AKS, security scanning tools (Checkov, tfsec), and multi-cloud environments.
⁠Familiarity with Ansible AAP, Datadog, Terraform Cloud / Enterprise or OpenTofu.
Exposure to Pulumi or CDK is a plus.
