AI Engineer

Role Summary

AI Engineer specializing in NLP and document intelligence, responsible for building and enhancing AI solutions for financial and legal document analysis within a Tier-1 bank environment.

Roles & Responsibilities

• ⁠Design, build, and enhance AI/NLP solutions for clause extraction, semantic comparison, and risk classification.
• Develop and fine-tune embedding-based models for semantic similarity across varied clause wording.
• Collaborate with SMEs and compliance stakeholders to translate regulatory requirements into AI logic.
• Implement explainable AI approaches to ensure traceability of AI-generated outputs.
• ⁠Expose AI capabilities via secure APIs and integrate with downstream systems.
• Adhere to data privacy and secure coding standards in a Tier-1 bank environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• 6–8 years of relevant experience in NLP, semantic search, and document intelligence.
• ⁠Proficiency in Python, Doc AI, Vertex AI, Hugging Face, spaCy, PyTorch/TensorFlow.
• Experience with transformer-based models, LLMs, and prompt engineering.
• REST API development (FastAPI/Flask), Git, and basic CI/CD exposure.
