Job Summary

Our banking client is seeking an experienced Product Manager to join their Private Banking Product & Solutions team. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy working closely with Client Advisers, external partners, and internal stakeholders to deliver a robust suite of wealth products and ensure best-in-class governance. You will drive product due diligence, monitor risk, enhance sales processes, and support product innovation for private banking clients.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end management of product selection and processes across unit trusts, bonds, insurance, trust/family office solutions, DPM, and financing to deliver competitive wealth solutions.
  • Conduct regular evaluations of existing products, partners, and platforms to maintain market relevance and competitiveness.
  • Collaborate with external partners and alliances to perform product evaluation, due diligence, and incorporate market updates.
  • Review and optimize internal processes including transaction workflows, presentation materials, approval documentation, and client follow-ups to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate, clear, and timely communication of all product information to internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Assess product-related risks and monitor Loan-to-Value (LTV) ratios in partnership with Credit and Management teams to ensure risk compliance.
  • Partner with Client Advisers to ensure sales processes adhere to MAS regulations and Fair Dealing Guidelines, safeguarding regulatory compliance.
  • Align internal policies and transaction activities with current regulatory requirements to maintain governance standards.
  • Execute ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Head of Department or Management to support team objectives.

Required competencies and certifications

  • CACS certification and/or CMFAS M9, M9A, M5, HI certifications as preferred professional credentials supporting regulatory compliance.

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from a recognised institution or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in private banking product management or wealth management.
  • Strong knowledge of wealth products, private banking platforms, and industry trends.
  • Detail-oriented and organized to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally and work effectively with diverse teams.
