Job Description

Job Summary

You will proactively support and maintain the network infrastructure and operational stability of a leading financial institution, ensuring secure and continuous IT services within an enterprise banking environment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain daily network infrastructure and IT operations to ensure system stability and uninterrupted service
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network, system, and connectivity issues promptly to minimize downtime
  • Monitor and manage network environments including TCP/IP, routing, switching, firewalls, DNS, and VPN to uphold performance and security
  • Administer user accounts, permissions, and access controls to protect system integrity and data security
  • Participate in rotational shift coverage to provide continuous operational support
  • Support IT audit activities by assisting in compliance checks and remediation efforts
  • Assist with infrastructure enhancement projects and ad hoc technical initiatives as assigned by the Department Head
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to facilitate smooth IT operations across the bank

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related discipline
  • Experience in network operations, infrastructure support, or enterprise IT environments
  • Familiarity with banking or financial institutions’ IT environments
  • Proficiency in English and Mandarin to liaise effectively with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving skills to independently address technical challenges in a fast-paced setting
  • Effective communication and coordination skills to work collaboratively within a team
