Paralegal (Corporate) - Fresh Grads welcome

Cana Consulting is partnering with a boutique law firm with a strong focus on corporate and commercial matters. The firm advises a diverse range of clients, from start-ups and SMEs to established businesses, providing practical and commercially focused legal solutions. They are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join their growing team. No prior legal experience is required as comprehensive training and mentorship will be provided. Key Responsibilities Working closely with the firm's lawyers, you will assist in a broad range of corporate and commercial matters, including: • Assisting with the preparation, review and formatting of legal documents, agreements and corporate records • Conducting legal, regulatory and corporate searches • Preparing board resolutions, shareholders' resolutions and other corporate documentation • Assisting with company incorporations and corporate restructuring exercises • Supporting lawyers on mergers and acquisitions, investments and other corporate transactions • Assisting with legal due diligence exercises and maintaining transaction data rooms • Liaising with clients, regulatory authorities and external service providers • Organising and maintaining physical and electronic files and records • Supporting lawyers with legal research and other ad hoc assignments • Assisting with administrative and operational matters as required Requirements • Diploma or Degree in Law, Business, Accountancy, Communications or a related discipline • Fresh graduates and polytechnic graduates are encouraged to apply • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Excellent organisational and time management skills • Meticulous with strong attention to detail • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications • Positive attitude, willingness to learn and strong work ethic • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment What's on Offer • Structured training and mentorship from experienced lawyers • Exposure to a broad range of corporate and commercial legal work • Opportunity to work directly with partners and senior lawyers • Supportive and collaborative working environment • Strong learning and professional development opportunities • Hands-on exposure to corporate transactions and client advisory work Ideal Candidate This opportunity would suit an individual who: • Has a keen interest in the legal industry and corporate practice • Enjoys working with documents and managing detailed processes • Is organised, proactive and eager to learn • Wants to gain practical exposure to legal transactions and advisory work • Is considering a long-term career within the legal profession EA Lic: 24S2202 | CEI Reg: R2091776
