Responsibilities:

Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents, ensuring timely containment and remediation.
Perform proactive threat hunting using SIEM and SOAR tools.
Monitor emerging threats, zero-day vulnerabilities, and APT activities.
Manage and optimise Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) solutions and endpoint hardening.
Maintain risk registers and develop security metrics dashboards for management reporting.
Conduct cyberdrills and tabletop exercises to enhance organisational readiness.
Conduct Vulnerability Assessments and Penetration Testing (VAPT).
Lead organisation-wide security awareness initiatives and phishing simulations.
Design and review IT and cybersecurity architecture frameworks.
Support ISO27001 and SOC implementation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years’ relevant cybersecurity experience.
Strong knowledge of IT Security and Cloud Security, with familiarity in industry standards and frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27000, and IMO guidelines.
Proven expertise in Azure Cloud Security, including hands-on experience with Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Azure Security Center, and Azure Policy for real-time threat management and compliance monitoring.
Solid understanding of end-to-end IT security domains, including network, server, application, endpoint, email, physical access, and logical access security (advantageous).
Experience managing network security technologies such as Next-Generation Firewalls, IDS/IPS, UTM, NAC, and Anti-Virus solutions, as well as Windows, Linux, and core networking services (preferred).
Proficiency in integrating and automating security controls within CI/CD pipelines, particularly using Azure DevOps.
