Responsibilities

Lead discussions with internal teams, customers, partners, and vendors to gather, clarify, and document project-specific business and technical requirements.
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including Requirements Specifications, Design Specifications, and Interface Specifications for projects.
Identify potential design or solution challenges early in the project lifecycle and assess possible business or operational impacts.
Collaborate closely with project managers, solution architects, developers, QA, and deployment teams throughout the solution development lifecycle.
Ensure solutions meet customer expectations by supporting and coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validation activities.
Analyse issues encountered during testing and solution deployments, recommending practical fixes and workarounds.
Continuously evaluate and suggest improvements to enhance system performance, reliability, and scalability.
Provide regular updates on progress, risks, and issues to project managers and stakeholders.
Support stakeholder communication, change management, and post-deployment support as required.

Pre-Requisites

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably on government, automation, or security technology projects.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to ask precise questions and accurately interpret responses.
Excellent documentation skills for requirements, design, and use case documents.
Strong analytical abilities to quickly understand customer processes and map them to system workflows.
Proficient in problem-solving with a methodical approach to issue resolution.
Skilled at scoping, prioritising requirements, and evaluating the feasibility of proposed solutions.
Reliable, adaptable, and proactive, with strong interpersonal skills.
Experience with border control systems, biometrics, automation, or public sector IT projects is a strong advantage.
