PRINCIPAL CIVIL & STRUCTURAL ENGINEER

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead the technical and project management deliveryof C&S projects
• Drive technical development and keeping up-to-datewith new technologies / innovations
• Provide technical and project leadership asideDirector/QP
• Lead input for tenders and bids.
• Formalize standards for specifications, drawingsetc. in conjunction with other Team Leaders and Division Leaders
• Keep Team members informed and aware of thelatest practices, materials availability, legislative rules and regulations etc
• Prepare/provide Conceptual Design/sketches
• Ensure technicality/Design documentation workcarried out by team members is appropriate and comply with codes and localauthority requirements
• Ensure various project submissions are made ontime and follow up on comments to obtain approval
• Manage staffing and technical standards of theTeam, mentoring supporting Engineers
• Set design criteria, check design calculation,drawing and update team members on latest project developments
• Ensure concept and sketch designs are approvedbefore progressing to the next stage
• Oversee and control efficiency and quality ofwork produced by the Team members
• Ensure timeliness of production of works carried out by the Team
• Prepare and monitor project cost and budget
• Attend Client meeting and critical project meetings
• Ensure Team members are adhering to Company rules and regulations and comply with ISO quality procedures.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor / Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering
• Min. 8 years' structural engineering design experience. ##

•  Solid experience working in an Engineering Design Consultancy

• Competent knowledge of local practice, i.e. Code of Practice, Standards and local authority submission
• Proven track record of successful projects management and delivery within assigned budget, timeline, quality and safety
