Job Description
• Job Summary
The Logistics Assistant / Associate supports the smooth and efficient execution of import and export operations for goods traded with Lotte overseas branches and external trade partners. This role manages logistics coordination for products including liquor, tobacco, confectionery, fashion accessories, and related merchandise.
You will work closely with overseas affiliates, trade partners, and third-party logistics (3PL) providers to ensure timely shipments, accurate documentation, and cost-effective logistics operations. The role requires strong coordination skills to manage logistics schedules and optimise operational efficiency.
• Key Duties & Responsibilities
• Coordinate and schedule import and export shipments in accordance with operational timelines
• Liaise with Lotte overseas branches, trade partners, freight forwarders, and 3PL service providers
• Prepare, review, and maintain shipping and trade documentation (e.g. invoices, packing lists, BL/AWB)
• Communicate with internal stakeholders and provide timely logistics updates and reports
• Process logistics and shipping-related invoices accurately and in a timely manner
• Monitor and track logistics costs, highlighting variances and supporting cost control initiatives
• Support ad-hoc logistics assignments, coordination and operational tasks as required
• Reporting Line
• Reports primarily to the Head of Logistics
• In the absence of the Head of Logistics, reporting will be to the designated second-in-command
Requirements
• Able to read / write English with additional one of the languages listed herewith in order to communicate effectively for example : read / write in Vietnamese language to communicate with Lotte Vietnam's stakeholders or Chinese language to counterparts from Hong Kong or Korean language with Lotte HQ Teams in South Korea
• Diploma or higher qualification in Logistics, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field
• No prior work experience required; fresh graduates are welcome
• Basic proficiency in office productivity software (e.g. MS Excel, Word, email)
• Strong logical and analytical thinking skills
• Proactive and solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to handle operational challenges
• Ability to think conceptually and manage multiple tasks effectively
• High level of responsibility, accountability, and attention to detail
