Automation Engineer / Senior Automation Engineer (PLC / SCADA / DCS)

• Location: Site Based (Mainly work within clients' sites)
• 5 days work week (AWS & VB provided)

We are hiring Automation Engineers and Senior Automation Engineers to support industrial automation and system integration projects across manufacturing, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, and process industries.

This role involves PLC/DCS programming, SCADA development, system integration, commissioning, troubleshooting, and automation project implementation for large-scale industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain PLC, SCADA, and DCS control systems

• Perform automation software development, testing, and debugging

• Support FAT, SAT, commissioning, and onsite troubleshooting activities

• Integrate industrial equipment, field devices, HMIs, and control systems

• Prepare technical documentation, functional specifications, and reports

• Support customer discussions and project implementation activities

• Collaborate with internal engineering teams and external stakeholders

• Ensure project delivery, system reliability, and operational performance

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Automation, Control & Instrumentation, or related engineering discipline

• Experience in industrial automation, controls engineering, or system integration

• Hands-on experience in one or more platforms:

  • Siemens PLC / TIA Portal / WinCC

  • Emerson DeltaV / DCS

  • SCADA / HMI systems

• Familiar with industrial communication protocols such as Profinet, Ethernet/IP, OPC UA, or Modbus

• Experience in commissioning, troubleshooting, and customer support

• Able to travel for project support when required
  

Preferred Experience

• Minimum 3 yrs of experience in industrial automation with PLC software development skills

• FAT/SAT and commissioning experience

• Robotics, motion control, MES, or Industry 4.0 exposure

• Project coordination or technical lead experience
