Backend Software Engineer

Job Description

Duties / Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and maintaining backend systems and APIs
• Work closely with product, frontend, operations, and payment teams to support business needs
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Support system integration with payment providers, upstream suppliers, and internal tools
• Participate in debugging, testing, and performance optimization
• Support deployment and monitoring of backend services
• Learn and contribute to cloud infrastructure and DevOps processes

Minimum Qualifications:

• Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• 0–2 years of backend development experience (fresh graduates are welcome)
• Familiar with at least one backend programming language such as Java, Go, Python, PHP, or Node.js
• Basic understanding of databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Basic understanding of RESTful APIs and backend architecture
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced startup environment
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Internship or project experience in backend development
• Familiarity with Git, Docker, or cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Aliyun)
• Interest in payment, fintech, telecom, or eSIM-related systems
• Basic understanding of DevOps / CI-CD processes is a plus
• Passion for building scalable and reliable systems
