Flavour Technical Support / Food Technology Specialist

(Manufacturing & Quality Support Role)

About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on flavour professional to support manufacturing, quality, regulatory changes, and raw material continuity for food flavour products.

This role is not a sales or creative flavourist position. Instead, it focuses on problem-solving, production support, and technical coordination to ensure flavours can be produced consistently, compliantly, and on time.

Candidates with flavourist training or past flavourist experience (including trainee flavourists or semi-retired flavourists now working as food technologists) are strongly encouraged to apply.

What You Will Do

Support Material Supply & Continuity

Handle issues when raw materials face supply shortages, quality problems, or regulatory changes
Identify and test alternative raw materials
Work closely with Supply Chain, Purchasing, and Quality teams
Support initiatives to standardise raw materials across regions

Quality & Production Troubleshooting

Investigate customer complaints and product rejects
Review quality test results to find root causes
Work with Production to resolve issues quickly
Provide on-site factory support when needed

Regulatory & Formula Support

Assist with formula changes due to regulatory updates
Ensure flavour performance is maintained after changes
Coordinate with internal teams and customers on updates
Create and approve new material codes in the system

Production & Scale-Up Support

Support flavour production during scale-up and manufacturing
Focus on savoury and processed food applications
Help improve workflows and solve production challenges

Continuous Improvement Projects

Participate in long-term projects such as:
Cost optimization of raw materials
Formula simplification Global material harmonization
