Application Engineer / Technical Engineer (Entry level / Mechanical Engineer)

🌏 About the Role

We are partnering with an established international engineering solutions provider with a strong footprint across Asia. The company specializes in advanced flow control and fire protection systems, supporting critical infrastructure such as energy facilities, industrial plants, and transportation projects.

This role offers a hybrid exposure to technical engineering and commercial functions, making it ideal for candidates who enjoy both problem-solving and client engagement.

🛠 Key Responsibilities

• Interpret technical specifications and support preparation of proposals and tenders

• Work closely with internal engineering teams and overseas factories for technical clarifications, drawings, and solutions

• Support sales team with product selection, application design, and technical presentations

• Attend client meetings, project discussions, and deliver technical briefings or product training sessions

• Review customer orders and ensure alignment with project requirements and specifications

• Track project progress, timelines, and technical deliverables

• Provide after-sales technical support, including responding to customer queries and troubleshooting issues

• Assist with documentation such as test reports, drawings, and inspection records

• Support regional business development activities and occasional site visits across Asia
  

🎯 Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering (Preferably Mechanical related)

• Entry level is welcome to apply as training will be given

• Good to have experience in instrumentation, valves, fire protection, or industrial systems

• Proficient in AutoCAD

• Comfortable with regional travel on short notice

• Strong communication skills with ability to conduct presentations, training, or seminars

• Independent, proactive, and able to work collaboratively in a team environment

• Willingness to take on both technical and commercial responsibilities
