Deputy Engineering Manager (LQ)

Job Description

We are seeking a Deputy Engineering Manager (Living Quarters – LQ) to support and coordinate engineering activities related to offshore Living Quarters systems for oil & gas EPC projects. The role ensures technical quality, compliance with offshore standards, and effective coordination with vendors and multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee engineering activities related to Living Quarters (LQ) systems.

• Manage interfaces covering accommodation layout, HVAC, safety systems, utilities, and architectural elements.

• Review and approve LQ engineering deliverables and vendor documentation.

• Coordinate with Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, and I&C disciplines to ensure integrated LQ design.

• Support procurement, fabrication, installation, and commissioning activities related to LQ scope.

• Ensure compliance with offshore, class, and project-specific standards.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline).

• Minimum 10–15 years of experience in oil & gas or offshore EPC projects, with LQ exposure.

• Strong knowledge of offshore Living Quarters design and interfaces.

• Good coordination, technical review, and stakeholder management skills.
