Contract Manager (Construction / M&E Engineering)

Our Client is seeking an experienced Contract Manager to oversee all contractual and commercial aspects of M&E projects.

You will play a key role in managing project costs, contracts, and claims, working closely with project teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure projects are delivered within budget and in compliance with contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end contract administration for M&E and construction projects.
• Review, draft, and negotiate contracts, subcontracts, and agreements.
• Handle project cost control, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Manage variation orders (VO), claims, and final account settlement.
• Evaluate subcontractor quotations and oversee procurement processes.
• Monitor project cash flow and cost performance.
• Provide contractual advice to project teams and management.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors on contractual matters.
• Ensure compliance with contract terms, regulations, and company policies.
• Support risk management and dispute resolution when required.

Requirements

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5–10 years of relevant experience in contract management or quantity surveying.
• Experience in M&E or construction projects in Singapore is required.
• Strong knowledge of standard forms of contract (e.g., SIA, PSSCOC).
• Proven experience in handling variation orders, claims, and final accounts.
• Good understanding of project costing, budgeting, and procurement processes.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience working with M&E contractors or main contractors, familiar with ACMV / building services projects will be preferred
• Exposure to both pre-contract and post-contract administration
