Firmware Engineer (Fresh Graduate Welcome)***

This will be a 1-year renewable contract position based in Changi Vista

Responsibilities

• Firmware infrastructure/libraries development
• Produce innovative cost-effective firmware solutions to meet all the product quality, test cost, manufacturing yield, and debug/diagnosability requirements
• Collaborate with architecture/design, firmware/software, verification and characterization, and test development teams to debug and root cause any firmware issues on simulation/bench/ATE (Automatic Test Equipment)
• Work within short TAT, ensure timely delivery of robust firmware solutions to meet the product release schedule

Requirement

• Bachelor/Master’s Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering/IC Design or equivalent
• Experience in Embedded Software development, fresh graduate welcome to apply.
• C programming and debugging experiences in the embedded domain for processor/microcontroller-based applications
• Knowledge of Data structures and Algorithms
• Able to work in Linux environment
• Familiar with Shell/Python/Perl scripting languages
• Analytical and problem-solving ability
• Organizational skills with ability to multi-task, prioritize and track many activities
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to work well in a team environment that spans across continents

Advantages

• Experience in digital design and bare metal firmware development using FPGAs
• Knowledge of AXI/APB protocols
• Understanding of the AMD FPGA products and the system development process
• Knowledge of Verilog RTL design and HW functional verification
