SRE Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking a Reliability Engineer to support IT operations and projects by ensuring system reliability, proactive monitoring, and automation. The role requires close collaboration with internal teams and external partners to maintain high system availability and performance.

Key Responsibilities

Observability & Monitoring

• Implement and manage monitoring and observability solutions for systems and applications
• Install, configure, and maintain monitoring tools
• Enhance and integrate monitoring solutions to enable proactive issue detection
• Analyze logs, system metrics, and application health to generate dashboards and reports

Automation

• Automate day-to-day operational tasks using Ansible, Jenkins, Shell, PowerShell, or Python
• Improve operational efficiency through process automation and scripting

Reliability & Support

• Provide support for reliability engineering service requests
• Participate in incident management and resolution, including after-hours support when required
• Support project cutovers and production deployments
• Ensure high availability and performance of systems in a 24/7 support environment

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in IT operations, monitoring, and automation
• At least 2 years of scripting experience (Ansible, Shell, Python preferred)
• Hands-on experience with monitoring/observability tools
• Familiarity with platforms such as Windows, Linux/Unix, AWS Cloud, databases, and middleware
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Good communication skills to work with internal and external stakeholders
