Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and deployment of AI-driven analytics solutions to optimize vessel performance, fuel efficiency and operational decision-making.
Analyze large-scale maritime datasets (voyage data, AIS, engine performance, weather, bunker consumption) to generate actionable insights.
Develop predictive models and machine learning algorithms for areas such as predictive maintenance, route optimization, and emissions reduction.
Collaborate with fleet management, technical, and commercial teams to translate business requirements into data-driven solutions.
Build and maintain data pipelines, dashboards, and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for real-time monitoring and reporting.
Ensure data quality, governance, and integrity across multiple data sources and platforms.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives through advanced analytics and AI adoption across the organization.
Stay updated with emerging AI, machine learning, and maritime digitalization trends to propose innovative solutions.
Work closely with IT and external vendors to integrate AI solutions into existing enterprise systems and platforms.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 6–10 years of experience in data analytics, with at least 2–3 years in AI/ML-related roles, preferably in logistics.
Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
Strong analytical thinking, stakeholder management skills, and ability to translate complex data into business insights.
