Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Technical Lead – PHP & JavaScript Developer to join their Digital Technology team in Singapore. This role will play a key part in the development, enhancement, and integration of their internal digital platforms and web applications.

This position offers a hybrid working arrangement (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) and the opportunity to work within a collaborative, international technology environment.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Analysis
Analyse business requirements and user needs to determine suitable technical solutions, integrations, and enhancements for web applications.

Solution Design
Design prototypes, mock-ups, or technical spikes to validate user requirements and estimate development effort and timelines.

Development, Documentation and Testing
Develop and test application features within sprint cycles. Ensure deliverables are properly documented through walkthroughs, guides, screenshots, or videos.

Technology Research and Evaluation
Research and assess tools, plugins, platforms, and software solutions. Present recommendations to relevant technical review groups for evaluation and adoption.

System Reliability and Compliance
Follow organisational standards relating to reliability, availability, maintainability, security, and software quality. Ensure adherence to cybersecurity, data protection, and change management policies.

Risk Management and Reporting
Identify potential risks related to development timelines, technical constraints, or resources. Provide regular progress updates to relevant stakeholders.

Deployment and Delivery
Support deployment activities across development, testing, and production environments. Contribute to system integration efforts and ongoing platform improvements.

AI Enablement
Support initiatives exploring the implementation and use of AI capabilities within digital platforms where applicable.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in web application development
• Strong experience in PHP and JavaScript development
• Experience in both frontend and backend development, including API development
• Experience maintaining and managing SaaS applications
• Experience working with cloud environments (preferably AWS)
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum)

Preferred

• Scrum Master or ITIL certification
• Exposure to mobile development frameworks
• Experience implementing or integrating AI capabilities within digital products

Skills and Competencies

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple development activities within technical and time constraints
• Effective communication skills in English (written and spoken)
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a multicultural environment
