Platform Engineer

We are hiring an OpenShift SME / Platform Engineer to lead the modernization of our application infrastructure. In this role, you will drive the transformation from traditional application technology stacks to modern, container-based platforms across both on-premise and cloud environments. You will act as the subject matter expert for container technologies, guiding and mentoring engineers as they onboard into the container ecosystem.

The position involves designing, installing, and configuring container orchestration platforms such as OpenShift and Kubernetes across hybrid environments, as well as implementing cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) across multiple providers including AWS, Azure, and GCP. You will also be responsible for hardening servers and systems according to industry best practices and compliance standards, leading container platform installations, migrations, and upgrades with minimal downtime, and contributing to strategic infrastructure planning focused on scalability, availability, and security. Additionally, the role includes managing third-party vendor relationships to ensure service quality and compliance, while fostering a culture of continuous learning and adaptability to stay ahead of evolving technologies and security threats.
