Job Description
1. Financial Management & Reporting
Prepare and review monthly financial statements, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow reports.
Monitor revenue performance across outlets and provide financial analysis to management.
Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing processes.
Prepare management reports and financial summaries for directors and shareholders.
2. Budgeting & Forecasting
Develop annual budgets and financial forecasts for restaurant and club operations.
Monitor financial performance against budgets and provide variance analysis.
Work with operations teams to control operational costs and improve profitability.
3. Accounting & Compliance
Ensure proper accounting records are maintained in accordance with financial regulations and accounting standards.
Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
Ensure compliance with Singapore regulatory requirements including tax filings, GST submissions, and statutory reporting.
Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and corporate secretaries.
4. Cash Flow & Financial Controls
Manage company cash flow and financial planning.
Implement internal financial controls and procedures.
Monitor cash handling procedures across outlets including POS reconciliation and cash deposits.
Identify financial risks and recommend improvements to financial processes.
5. Team Management
Supervise finance and accounts staff including finance executives and accounts assistants.
Provide guidance and training to the finance team.
Ensure accurate financial documentation and reporting standards are maintained.
6. Business Support & Strategic Planning
Provide financial insights to support business decisions and expansion plans.
Conduct financial analysis for new outlet openings, projects, and investments.
Support management with cost analysis and operational efficiency initiatives.
Requirements
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, or CA is preferred.
Minimum 5–7 years of finance or accounting experience, preferably in hospitality, F&B, or retail operations.
Strong knowledge of Singapore accounting standards, tax regulations, and GST requirements.
Experience managing multi-outlet financial operations is an advantage.
