Job Description
1. Financial Reporting
Assist in preparing monthly financial statements including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow reports.
Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
Monitor revenue and expenses across outlets and provide financial summaries to management.
Assist in preparing financial reports for directors and stakeholders.
2. Accounting Operations
Oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
Ensure proper documentation and recording of financial transactions.
Review invoices, payments, and financial records for accuracy.
Assist in maintaining proper accounting systems and financial documentation.
3. Budgeting & Cost Control
Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts.
Monitor operational expenses and highlight cost variances.
Work with outlet managers to ensure proper cost control and financial discipline.
4. Compliance & Regulatory Matters
Ensure compliance with Singapore financial regulations and accounting standards.
Assist in GST submissions, tax reporting, and statutory filings.
Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and external consultants when required.
5. Cash Management & Financial Controls
Assist in monitoring cash flow and financial planning.
Review daily sales reports and outlet cash reconciliations.
Ensure internal financial controls and procedures are properly implemented.
Identify and report financial discrepancies or operational risks.
6. Team & Operational Support
Support and supervise finance executives and accounts assistants.
Assist in improving financial processes and reporting systems.
Provide financial support and guidance to outlet managers.
Requirements
Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent is an advantage.
Minimum 4–6 years of accounting or finance experience, preferably in hospitality, F&B, or retail operations.
Strong knowledge of Singapore accounting standards, tax regulations, and GST requirements.
Experience in multi-outlet financial operations is preferred.
