Job Description

Responsibilities

  1. Design, develop, and implement scalable applications using the Pega Platform, leveraging low-code development capabilities to support enterprise digital transformation initiatives.

  2. Build and configure case management workflows, business processes, and automation solutions using Pega case types, flows, and decision rules.

  3. Develop and maintain Pega applications using App Studio and Dev Studio, ensuring alignment with best practices and the Pega Express delivery methodology.

  4. Design and implement data models, integrations, and business logic within Pega applications to support complex enterprise requirements.

  5. Implement system integrations with external applications and services using REST/SOAP APIs, connectors, and data transforms.

  6. Configure and enhance Pega user interfaces, including sections, harnesses, controls, and responsive layouts to deliver intuitive user experiences.

  7. Implement decision management rules, including decision tables and business logic to support intelligent process automation.

  8. Ensure application security by configuring access control, authentication mechanisms, and role-based permissions within Pega applications.

  9. Perform troubleshooting, performance tuning, and optimization of Pega applications to ensure reliability and scalability.

  10. Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and agile teams to deliver high-quality Pega solutions within defined project timelines.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Information Systems

  2. Proven experience developing applications on the Pega Platform, including case management and workflow automation.

  3. Strong understanding of Pega architecture, including case types, data models, flows, activities, and integration patterns.

  4. Proficiency in Pega development tools including App Studio, Dev Studio, and the Pega Express delivery methodology.

  5. Experience with Pega integrations including REST/SOAP services, connectors, and data transformations.

  6. Knowledge of Pega UI development, including sections, harnesses, controls, and responsive UI design principles.

  7. Understanding of decision management capabilities such as decision rules, decision tables, and business logic implementation.

  8. Familiarity with database concepts and SQL for data manipulation and reporting within Pega applications.

  9. Experience configuring Pega security features, including authentication, access groups, roles, and privilege management.

  10. Good understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
