Network Engineer (WLAN / LAN Support – Schools Project)

📍 Work Location: Based in Bedok and required to travel to Multiple School Sites Across Singapore for on site field support
🚗 Travel Required: Across assigned school locations
🕒 24 x 7 Standby Support Required

We are seeking a Network Engineer to support the monitoring, maintenance, and operations of the SSOE network infrastructure across multiple schools in Singapore. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy hands-on networking, field support, and troubleshooting enterprise network environments.

You will play a key role in ensuring high availability and performance of school network systems, including wireless, LAN, firewall, and WAN connectivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage SSOE network infrastructure, including internal and external network integrations.

• Configure, test, and maintain LAN/WAN network equipment and related services.

• Manage and troubleshoot wireless network (WLAN) infrastructure across school environments.

• Monitor network performance and availability, implementing corrective actions when necessary.

• Support incident, change, and problem management in accordance with ITSM / ITIL practices.

• Implement service continuity procedures, including backup, restoration, and disaster recovery plans.

• Perform data centre and site-level cable patching when required.

• Maintain accurate network documentation and operational records.

• Ensure all systems meet required service level availability and operational standards.

• Work towards attaining vendor certifications to support partnership requirements.

Requirements

• ITE Certificate in IT, Networking, or related discipline

• 1 – 3 years of relevant networking experience

• Experience managing enterprise WLAN and LAN infrastructure

• Comfortable with travelling to multiple school sites across Singapore

• Willing to participate in 24x7 standby support
