Network Security Engineer (Palo Alto) – 24/7 Standby

Location: Bedok (island wide deployment required at times when needed as per project)
Salary: Up to S$6,350 + $50 Allowance + up to 1 month Performance Bonus
1 Year Project Renewable assignment under Agency Payroll

About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on Network Security Engineer with strong expertise in Palo Alto firewalls and Panorama to support enterprise network environments.

You will play a key role in ensuring network security, performance, and availability, while working in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• - Experience with Palo Alto firewall administration.

  - Create and update firewall security policies and NAT rules.

  - Troubleshoot network connectivity and internet access issues.

  - Perform basic network configuration (VLANs, switches, routers, IP addressing).

  - Review firewall logs and security alerts. - Perform daily health checks, backups, and firmware updates.

  - Coordinate with IT teams and vendors for issue resolution

  - Maintain network and firewall documentation.

  Strong knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP,VLAN, routing).

  - Understanding of firewall policies and security best practices.

  - Good troubleshooting and communication skills.

  - Relevant certifications are a plus (e.g., PCCET, CCNA).

  - Comply to ITSM/ITIL methodologies in daily operation e.g. Change, Incident & problem management.

Job Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls and Panorama

• Strong knowledge of network security, routing & switching fundamentals

• Experience in incident management and troubleshooting

• Familiar with ITIL processes (Change, Incident, Problem management)

• Willing to support 24/7 standby operations

• Able to work across multiple locations in Singapore when deployed by Project

• Palo Alto certifications (PCNSE preferred)

• Experience in enterprise or managed services environments

• Exposure to security best practices and compliance standards
