Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business and system requirements. Translate these into detailed test plans, ensuring all functionality aligns with business needs and project goals.
  • Test case development and execution: Develop and document clear and well-targeted test cases to be used by yourself, other QA testers based on Business Requirements, current System functionality and Functional Specification/ Narratives.
  • Defines complete level of test scenarios and variations in data to adequately perform end to end testing.
  • Process Improvement – Analyze business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement. Continuously refine QA processes, incorporating best practices for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Thoroughly test multiple functionalities and document the results by capturing end to end testing steps during execution.
  • Submits defects and issues to development for correction, and retests once errors have been corrected following established procedures.
  • Tracks defects and causal analysis to closure.
  • Ensures that testing is completed on schedule.
  • Closely collaborate with development team and business users throughout the entire project.
  • Use analytical and problem-solving skills to recognize and reduce redundancies in testing efforts, minimize complexity, and create efficiency without compromising effectiveness.
  • Effectiveness to work both independently and within a team environment. with tight deadlines and changing priorities
  • UAT support and coordination: Support user acceptance testing by coordinating with end users, gathering feedback.
  • Working with vendors and product owners and End Users within organization.

Support Test Manager to oversee respective testing activities
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Candidate should possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.

2. At least 2-3 years of experience in the field of software Quality Assurance, preferably in Banking domain.

3. 1- 2 years of experience in Business Analyst role or demonstrated capability to performance BA functions.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environment.
4. Certification in Quality Assurance (ISTQB, CSTE) or Business Analysis (CBAP, CCBA) are a plus.
5.Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, especially MS Excel.
6. Experience in using JIRA tool, SQL, API,
7. Pro-active, independent, resourceful and able to work in a team
8. Advanced knowledge of test methodologies and approaches.
