  • The successful candidate will collaborate with the Lead Product Manager on product strategy, define requirements, and ensure successful product enhancements that deliver measurable business outcomes.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Strategy & Outcomes: Set product strategy and OKRs aligned to MSF; translate needs into a sequenced and measurable roadmap.
  • Prioritisation & Decision-Making: Own backlog prioritisation across domains; make and communicate clear trade-offs with documented rationale.
  • Delivery Partnership: Partner with Business, Vendor Engineering, and Design teams to deliver iteratively; manage dependencies and collaborate closely across all stakeholders.
  • Market and Customer Research: Conduct thorough market analysis and customer research to identify needs, trends, and opportunities. Utilise insights to inform product development and positioning.
  • User Advocacy: Act as the voice of the user within the organisation. Ensure that user needs and feedback are integrated into product planning and development processes.
  • Adoption & Change: Work closely with operations teams to plan rollout readiness including training, communications, support, and feedback loops to improve adoption across government divisions.
  • Metrics, Risk & Governance: Ensure proper instrumentation and dashboards for adoption, efficiency, and quality metrics; proactively manage risks including privacy, security, data quality, and operational readiness.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • 4+ years of product management experience with evidence of shipping outcomes and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or related field. Strong product craft including discovery methodologies, prioritisation frameworks, metrics definition, data-driven decision making, and stakeholder influence.
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability for product outcomes and team performance.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.
