Mechanical Engineer (Automation)

Industry: Precision Engineering Manufacturer
Location: West
Working Hours: Monday Friday, 8.30am- 5.45pm
Basic + Allowances + AWS + VB

Responsibilities:

• Design, validate, and commission automation systems per safety, quality, and performance standards (IQ/OQ/PQ, FEED).

• Develop testing protocols, perform analysis, and lead continuous improvement (CI) through Lean methods (5S, 5-Why, FMEA).

• Collaborate with internal and external teams on machine qualification, FAT/SAT, root cause analysis, and system optimization.

• Establish maintenance procedures, provide technical training, and ensure compliance with all EHS and operational regulations.
  

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Automation, Mechatronics, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.

• 5–8 years in automation design (2D/3D) and 3–4 years in hands-on on-site debugging.

• Experience in project management, fabrication, reverse engineering, and PFMEA/CPK studies.

• Proficient in SolidWorks and statistical analysis tools (MINITAB/MATLAB).

• Strong leadership, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
