Associate Test Engineer

About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on Equipment Associate Engineer /Technician  to support the setup, testing, and troubleshooting of advanced semiconductor equipment and systems.

This role is ideal for a technically strong individual who enjoys working with precision instruments, solving complex problems, and collaborating with engineering teams in a cleanroom environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up, calibrate, test, and troubleshoot electronic circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies.
• Develop and execute test specifications, methods, and procedures based on technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
• Perform functional testing and troubleshooting on sub-assemblies and complete systems.
• Carry out rework and adjustments on assemblies or systems based on test results.
• Prepare clear technical reports documenting test results, root causes, and recommended solutions.
• Assist with the selection, configuration, and operation of specialized test equipment.
• Support engineering teams in experiment setup, data collection, and analysis.

Requirement

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and procedures.
• Hands-on experience working with semiconductor equipment.
• Proficiency using precision measurement and test instruments.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment and on shift schedules.
