QA Engineer

Core Duties

• Review and approve documents (SOPs, deviations, change controls).

• Perform inspections and tests of components and processes.

• Ensure adherence to quality and safety regulations.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, engineering). 

Key Responsibilities

• Process Development: Design, optimize, and implement manufacturing processes for efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

• Quality Standards: Develop and enforce quality standards, procedures (SOPs), and control strategies.

• Data Analysis: Analyze production data using statistical methods (like SPC) to identify trends, process capability, and areas for improvement.

• Problem Solving: Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for quality issues.

• Auditing: Lead or support internal and external quality audits, ensuring compliance with systems like QMS and EHS.

• Documentation: Manage technical documents, control records, and create reports on quality performance and improvements.

• Training: Coach and train production staff on quality protocols, new procedures, and best practices.

• Improvement Initiatives: Apply methodologies like Lean, Six Sigma, and FMEA to drive continuous improvement.

  • Working Hours : 8.15am to 5.30pm (Mon-Fri)

  • Location : Changi North

  • Company Bus : Pick up at Ang Mo Kio, Yishun, Hougang, Punggol, Pasir Ris, Bedok, Tampines MRT/Interchanges
