Associate Backend Engineer (1 year agency contract)

In this position, you won't just be fixing bugs. You will work alongside senior engineers to build real features, participate in code reviews, and learn how to deploy scalable software on AWS. We prioritize mentorship and will support your growth from writing code to understanding the full system architecture.

Key Responsibilities

-       Feature Development: Build and maintain backend APIs and services using Python (FastAPI/Django/Flask). You will write clean, well-documented, and efficient code.

-       Database Interaction: Write SQL queries and work with ORMs to manage data reliability.

-       Learn & Deploy: Gain hands-on experience with AWS (Cloud infrastructure). You will learn how to deploy your code using tools like Docker and CI/CD pipelines.

-       Testing: Write unit and integration tests to ensure your code is robust and bug-free before it hits production.

-       Collaborate: Participate in technical discussions, daily stand-ups, and code reviews. You will learn to give and receive constructive feedback.

Qualifications

-       Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field of study.

-       Curiosity: You are a problem solver who looks beyond the "how" to understand the "why." You are eager to learn new technologies (especially AWS and cloud concepts).

-       Team Player: You communicate clearly and are comfortable asking questions when you get stuck.

-       Relevant Experience: 0 to 5 years.
