Employment Type: Full-time

We are looking for a hands-on IT Network & Security Administrator to manage and strengthen network infrastructure and cybersecurity governance across HQ and retail store environments.

This role will be responsible for ensuring network reliability, supporting multi-site connectivity, managing firewall and SD-WAN environments, and driving cybersecurity initiatives such as Cyber Trust Mark, Data Protection Trust Mark (DPTM), VAPT remediation, cyber insurance readiness, and vendor management.

The ideal candidate should be technically hands-on, independent, and comfortable supporting both daily operations and project-based infrastructure rollouts.

Key Responsibilities

Network & Infrastructure

Manage and maintain network infrastructure across HQ and retail stores, including LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, VPN, routing, switching, and firewalls.

Oversee SD-WAN rollout and daily operations, with future roadmap exposure to ZTNA and SASE.

Ensure network uptime, performance, and reliability across multiple sites.

Lead telco and service provider management, including circuits, SIMs, provisioning, escalation, and issue resolution.

Support new store setup, infrastructure deployment, and project-based rollouts.

Cybersecurity & Governance

Own and drive cybersecurity governance initiatives, including Cyber Trust Mark and Data Protection Trust Mark requirements.

Implement, review, and validate network security controls, access policies, segmentation, and firewall rules.

Manage external VAPT vendors, review findings, and track remediation actions.

Support internal VAPT, security testing, audit preparation, and compliance exercises.

Ensure infrastructure and security controls align with internal policies, audit expectations, and industry best practices.

Cyber Insurance & Incident Readiness

Act as the main point of contact for cyber insurance and incident response management vendors.

Coordinate incident response readiness, reporting requirements, and control validation.

Ensure security controls meet insurer expectations and policy obligations.

Cloud & Security Operations

Manage and maintain firewall environments across on-premises and cloud platforms.

Support Azure networking components, including Azure Firewall.

Maintain secure connectivity between on-premises environments, cloud platforms, retail stores, and external vendors.

Operations, Support & Vendor Management

Troubleshoot network and security incidents from end to end.

Work closely with vendors, telcos, and service providers for delivery, escalation, and resolution.

Provide on-site support at retail stores when required for incident resolution, deployment, or infrastructure changes.

Support ad-hoc IT operational tasks across infrastructure and systems where needed.

Maintain proper documentation, including network diagrams, SOPs, firewall policies, access controls, and security records.

Requirements

Minimum 3 - 5 years of hands-on experience in network and security administration.

Strong knowledge of firewalls, routing, switching, VPN, SD-WAN, and network design.

Experience supporting multi-site or retail environments.

Exposure to VAPT, security audits, cybersecurity controls, or compliance frameworks.

Experience managing vendors, telcos, and external security assessment providers.

Familiarity with telco provisioning, infrastructure rollout, and site deployment activities.

Must be physically based in Singapore and able to work on-site.

Willing to travel to retail stores when required.

Strong ownership mindset with the ability to drive initiatives independently.

Preferred Skills

Experience with Fortinet technologies, especially FortiGate and Fortinet SD-WAN.

Familiarity with ZTNA and SASE concepts.

Experience supporting Cyber Trust Mark or Data Protection Trust Mark initiatives.

Knowledge of Azure networking and Azure Firewall.

Certifications such as CCNA, Network+, Security+, Fortinet NSE, or equivalent.

Ability to communicate in Mandarin will be an added advantage for coordination with regional stakeholders and vendors.

Ideal Candidate Profile

This role is suitable for someone who enjoys a hands-on infrastructure environment and is comfortable owning both network operations and cybersecurity governance. The successful candidate should be proactive, practical, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with internal teams, external vendors, telcos, auditors, and security partners.
