Job Description

Location: Novena Job Category: Allied Health Posting Date: 13 Jun 2026 Job Responsibilities • Provide clinical and operational leadership to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant delivery of pharmacy services with high standards of medication safety • Supervise, guide, and mentor pharmacy staff in dispensing, medication reconciliation, discharge planning, and counselling to ensure quality patient care • Optimise pharmaceutical care through medication review, reconciliation, and evidence-based recommendations, particularly for chronic and complex conditions • Deliver advanced medication counselling and education to patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to improve outcomes and adherence • Lead investigation and resolution of medication-related incidents, discrepancies, and supply issues, implementing corrective and preventive measures • Oversee inventory, procurement, and medication use processes to ensure cost-effectiveness, regulatory compliance, and minimisation of wastage • Drive quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives, including audits, data analysis, and workflow enhancements • Support clinical information systems, staff training, and multidisciplinary collaboration to enhance service delivery • Promote risk management practices by identifying, reporting, and mitigating risks to ensure patient safety and continuous improvement Job Requirements • Degree in Pharmacy • Registered with the Singapore Pharmacist Board with a valid patient care practising licence • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as a pharmacist, with a proven track record in clinical, operational, and/or leadership roles within a hospital or healthcare setting • Strong clinical and pharmacotherapeutic knowledge, with ability to manage complex and chronic conditions • Meticulous with good organisational, analytical, and decision-making skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to engage patients, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams effectively • Good problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset • Demonstrated supervisory, coaching, and mentoring capabilities • Committed to continuous learning, professional development, and quality improvement
