As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, as well as enhancing automation, deployment, and monitoring across all environments supporting the digital platform. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, as well as enhancing automation, deployment, and monitoring across all environments supporting the digital platform. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to improve scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency through innovative integration and automation solutions. Key Responsibilities • Manage application deployment and environment preparation across all environments (INT, SIT, UAT, and Production). • Design, develop, and optimize complex CI/CD pipelines to ensure fast, reliable, and consistent software delivery. • Architect scalable, secure, and robust infrastructure solutions to support Finance IT (FIT) digital platform requirements. • Perform post-deployment smoke testing, conduct initial issue analysis, and coordinate root cause identification with development teams. • Work extensively with SQL Stored Procedures for application configuration; apply intermediate-level SQL expertise. • Configure and manage Apache Spark standalone clusters; analyze performance bottlenecks and resource utilization, and communicate findings to relevant teams. • Integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (SDLC). • Implement and optimize monitoring solutions to proactively detect and resolve system performance issues, ensuring high availability. • Collaborate effectively with stakeholders across teams and departments to align DevOps strategies with business objectives. • Continuously research and adopt new technologies and methodologies to improve infrastructure scalability, deployment efficiency, and development processes. • Integrate tools such as SonarQube for code quality and security scanning within CI/CD pipelines. • Apply Agile and Scrum methodologies to support efficient project delivery. • Partner with development teams to streamline build, release, and deployment processes. • Manage source code repositories using Azure Repos or GitLab. • Mentor and guide junior team members, promoting best practices and knowledge sharing. Qualifications & Experience • Bachelor's degree in one of the following: • Computer Science • Information Technology • Programming & Systems Analysis • Computer Studies or equivalent • Software Engineering • Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, software development, or system operations. • Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, Bash, or Perl. • Strong experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure TFS, GitLab CI, CircleCI). • Solid background in Linux/Unix administration. • Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift). • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet. • Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid cloud environments. • Basic understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture. • Familiarity with network architecture and security protocols (SSL/TLS, firewalls, VPNs). • Working knowledge of Big Data ecosystem components such as Kafka, Spark, Spark Streaming, and Elasticsearch. • Strong problem-solving abilities, particularly in complex system integration scenarios. • Knowledge of financial systems, compliance, or regulatory reporting is an advantage.
