Requirements

• Good academic background, Degree qualified with more than 18 years of progressive and stable career track record
• Current FD/CFO with SGX listed company experience and prior Big 4 foundation
• Industry exposure from Real Estate, Funds, Infrastructure, and/or Investment Holding companies
• Strong communication and presentation skills, ability to influence and manage challenging stakeholders, strong business acumen, driven, mature

Job Scope

Our client is seeking a Finance Director to serve as a strategic finance partner to senior leadership across the business. In this role, you will translate business strategy into financial outcomes, providing rigorous financial insights to support investment decisions and operational priorities. You will work closely with the CFO and division heads on key projects and initiatives, and act as the financial voice on business drivers, risks, and value creation opportunities, including assessing accounting, reporting, and tax implications across the deal lifecycle in collaboration with relevant functional teams.

The Finance Director will own the end-to-end financial planning and performance management cycle, overseeing budgets, forecasts, and long-range plans with robust scenario and stress-testing analysis. You will challenge business assumptions, monitor performance against strategic targets, and ensure capital allocation decisions are grounded in sound financial rigour. Equally important is the ability to lead meaningful performance review conversations with senior stakeholders, delivering business-focused commentary that goes beyond the numbers to inform forward-looking decisions.

This role carries accountability for financial and management reporting, including board and committee materials, investor communications, and external disclosures. You will be a steward of financial integrity across the organization – ensuring strong governance, timely and accurate reporting, and effective identification and escalation of financial risks and material transactions. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in a complex, multi-segment environment and a track record of influencing at the senior leadership level.
