Senior System Engineer (Windows Infrastructure)

About the Role

We are seeking System Engineers to support the design, implementation, administration, and maintenance of enterprise infrastructure environments supporting mission-critical operations.

This role offers the opportunity to work on large-scale infrastructure platforms, virtualization technologies, automation initiatives, and high-availability systems within a structured enterprise environment.

Both Junior and Senior System Engineers are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, administer, and maintain enterprise infrastructure environments
• Manage Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 environments, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, IIS, and related services
• Support and optimize VMware vSphere and/or Hyper-V virtualization platforms
• Monitor system health, performance, and availability to ensure operational stability
• Implement and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions
• Perform patch management, system hardening, vulnerability remediation, and security compliance activities
• Develop PowerShell scripts and automation solutions to improve operational efficiency
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related incidents and technical issues
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support infrastructure projects and operational requirements
• Participate in system upgrades, capacity planning, and technology refresh initiatives
• Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and system configurations
• Provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing within the team
• Work with vendors and stakeholders to support infrastructure operations and enhancements

Requirements

Junior System Engineer

• Minimum 2 years of experience in system administration or infrastructure support
• Experience supporting Windows Server environments and Active Directory
• Exposure to virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
• Basic scripting or automation experience is advantageous

Senior System Engineer

• Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in system administration and infrastructure management
• Strong expertise in Windows Server and Active Directory administration
• Hands-on experience with VMware vSphere or Hyper-V
• Experience in backup and disaster recovery solutions
• Strong PowerShell scripting and automation skills
• Experience managing high-availability enterprise environments
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills

• Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and practices
• SCCM, WSUS, or equivalent patch management platforms
• Monitoring solutions such as Splunk, ELK, or Prometheus
• Linux/Unix administration experience
• ITIL service management knowledge
• Network and cybersecurity knowledge
• Relevant Microsoft, VMware, or infrastructure-related certifications
