Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead the organisation's technology strategy, cloud transformation, infrastructure modernisation, and adoption of emerging technologies. This role will drive the evolution of a secure, scalable, and resilient technology landscape while accelerating innovation through AI, Automation, AIOps, and modern engineering practices.
Key Responsibilities
• Define and execute the enterprise technology strategy aligned with business objectives and growth priorities.
• Lead large-scale cloud, infrastructure, and platform modernisation initiatives.
• Drive the adoption of AI, Generative AI, Automation, AIOps, and other emerging technologies to improve business outcomes and operational efficiency.
• Establish modern cloud operating models, platform engineering capabilities, and automation-first practices.
• Oversee cloud, infrastructure, platform engineering, technology operations, and cybersecurity functions.
• Ensure technology platforms are secure, resilient, scalable, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
• Drive operational excellence through observability, reliability engineering, disaster recovery, and business continuity practices.
• Lead technology investment planning, vendor management, cloud cost optimisation, and value realisation initiatives.
• Partner with executive leadership to identify and deliver technology-enabled transformation opportunities.
• Build and lead high-performing technology teams while fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Requirements
• 15+ years of technology leadership experience, including senior roles overseeing cloud, infrastructure, engineering, and technology operations.
• Proven track record leading enterprise cloud transformation and infrastructure modernisation programmes.
• Strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, and/or GCP), hybrid infrastructure, platform engineering, and automation.
• Demonstrated experience implementing AI, Automation, AIOps, or digital transformation initiatives at scale.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity, operational resilience, governance, and risk management.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with experience engaging C-suite and Board-level executives.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience managing technology investments, vendors, and large-scale transformation programmes.
