Quality Assurance Analyst (Big Tech)

Job Title: QA Analyst Job Duration: 12 months contract with a possibility to extend or to go perm! Position Summary: As a QA Analyst, you'll develop and execute comprehensive test plans to identify and troubleshoot software issues. Whether you're just starting or have some experience, you'll play a vital role in improving our software products, from running scripts to developing your own as you progress. Key Responsibilities: • Design and develop test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures • Test system modifications ahead of implementation • Create testing programs addressing database impacts, software scenarios, and usability • Document defects using bug tracking systems and communicate findings to developers • Analyze and document issues related to program function, output, and content • Monitor bug resolution efforts and track progress • Maintain databases of known defects • Plan and strategize testing schedules aligned with project timelines Qualifications & Skills: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field • 2-7+ years of experience as a QA Analyst, with a focus on automation • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Excellent problem-solving abilities and customer service orientation • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively • Basic understanding of QA automation tools and practices • Familiarity with engineering science and technology applications • Knowledge of development software such as JavaScript, SQL, etc.
